Sigur Rós X Ryan Mcginley + Heima

It is no secret that I consider Ryan Mcginley a genius. He just did a collaboration with Sigur Rós for their new single, Gobbledigook, directed by Arni & Kinski. The result is a well shot video of young naked people prancing around the forest with quick editing set to good music. Couldn’t ask for more, really.

You can watch the video and download the mp3 for free here.

While on the subject of Sigur Rós:

“In 2006, having toured the world over, Sigur Rós returned home to play a series of free, unannounced concerts in Iceland. Heima is a unique record of that tour filmed in 16 locations across the island, taking in the biggest and smallest shows of the band’s career. ‘Heima’ is a 97 minute documentary feature film including songs from all four Sigur Rós albums alongside previously unreleased material and, on disc two of the DVD release, a brand new song, also titled ‘Heima’.”

The trailer is stunning, you can watch it in HD here.

  1. I like Sigur Ros’ music.

  2. David,

Get this. One of my buddies back in London left for LA yesterday for a one month tour across the states to NYC to be one of Ryan McGinleys nekkid models! Everything is paid for and all the pictures will be shown at the Gugenheim next Spring. How cool is that?
