The extra dimension can make anything really awesome. So here are some sweet things that happen to be in 3d.

MGMT made a 3d version of their video for Time To Pretend. Youtube link. Higher quality version on their site (which is pretty entertaining itself).

Missy Elliot also did a 3D music video. Not as good as the MGMT video, and a way worse song. But it doesn’t matter, it is still better than most any shitty 2d music videos because of that extra dimension. Youtube link.

George Lucas has called out re-releasing all the Star Wars (!) movies in 3D (!!:) Old short article about it here.

In 1983, Jaws 3, Amityville Horror 3, and Friday the 13th Part 3 were all released in glorious 3D. Especially awesome because they are all the third movies in their respective series’ upping the gimmick factor. Link to torrent for all 3.
