Beirut at the Commodore, Vancouver

Pictures of Beirut’s sold-out show at the Commodore.

Vancouver was really psyched to see this guy play, so psyched that tickets sold out before I could get one (but thank you craigslist gods). I saw more tight vest + tight pants + obsessed-over facial hair + dress shoe combinations than one could imagine. Was a great show, band had a very natural organic chemistry on stage and they played a couple new songs that are progressing in the direction of folk>pop which is nice. In fact, one of the new songs was my favourite song of the entire night. Looking forward to the next album.

Love shooting at the Commodore, lighting there is solid.

And a totally unrelated photo. The building Brian Park’s bike shop was housed in had to be torn down but they forgot something..:

End!
