Friday! Harrison Boyce rail hop. UBC had this ‘block party’ thing going on which meant thousands of drunk annoying college kids celebrating their own stupidity which made riding a task. Next time we’re going to run them over. HUMAN MOGULS I say.

Then Brian Park, Jason and I hopped into a car and drove all the way to Maple Ridge where Gnarwhale affiliates WTA had a party out on a lakeside cabin there.
The whole thing was like a BMX video from 1998. A lot of beer. Get rowdy + fighting. Doing stupid shit.

We watched BMX Bandits featuring Nicole Kidman (someone needs to bring these masks back).

The rumours are true, I got a really nice new bike. Here’s a bike check.

Once it was dark and safe to go outside, we met up with Kyle Scullee’s crew and hit the sold out ION magazine party in a warehouse in Railtown.

The vibe was kinda weird there. Let’s just say the crowd and the music didn’t match… For starters, VNDLSM was playing and I found this guy in the crowd. I wandered around for a while just trying to take a clear photo of him, look at that steeze.

We all got out of there fairly quickly and gunned it home.

Went riding with Colin and Matt the next morning. We ran into the NSMB truck. I WAS SO PSYCHED. The number plate even says gnarmobile! I didn’t photoshop it on, I don’t believe in photoshop.
