The Demise of Tuff Ramp™

So tonight marks the end of what was known as Tuff Ramp. Tuff Ramp was, well, a ramp which we found in the beginning of grade 12 at my high school. It was actually part of the skateboard clubs stuff, but we decided it would look way sweeter in my yard and that we should take it. We lugged it all the way to my house and it has been here ever since. Tonight was a particularly warm Spring night and we decided to pull it out for one final session. As it has been sitting in the rain and snow for the past couple years it eventually dissolved into a rotten pile of wood.

Hit the jump for the final pictures with Mark, Ian, Colin and myself hitting the ramp on it’s last legs.

This is Tuff Ramp it it’s glory days. This shot was taken when we had just painted Brian Parks bike in every single shade of spraypaint I owned and proceeded to ride it around. Brian had left it at my house and I was sick of looking at it, so we painted it like a rainbow. A gross rainbow. Also that is Mark in the background filming my abubuca with a computer.

This is the first shot from tonight. Mark is putting his foot on the ramp. This was after about 10 minutes of riding the ramp. It went from good condition to this condition pretty quick.

Colin with a ghetto abubuca.

Ian with a boost.

Ian with a fake tailwhip.

Me with a huge one hander. Ian smiles.

A shot of the ramp falling apart from the front. Also me doing a 180 out of it.

This is us moving it. It’s falling apart so badly. There is now a ton of wood particles on my street which I don’t intend on cleaning up.
