So I guess Kyle Scully and friends are putting together a movie called Main Contenders. I don’t know too much about it but apparently I’m in it. Here’s Kyle’s write up on it.

Here is the teaser for the first Main Contenders Film entitled “Yeah Dude, We’re Killin It.” The Main Contenders are a group of Road Bike riders from Vancouver that like to bring the style of riders such as Dangerous Dan (circa 1997) and the hardcore attitude of heavy metal rock bands to the streets. This video is filmed entirely with a Canon Powershot SD600 Digital Elph Device & also the webcam on my Macbook. The Main Contenders are constantly trying to push the limits of what is possible on a road bike, and sometimes we go too far. We dedicate this film to our friend whom we call “Honey Glazed” who is now recovering from a near death crash on the BC Place Stair Gap (the big one) while riding his Bianchi fixed gear.

Keep an eye out for us around town. We’ll be the ones wearing balaclavas & sunglasses comparing the latest Carbon Fiber Derailleurs and the optimum PSI for high speed wheelie popping.

Locations: East Van, West Van, North Van, And South Van.

Riders: Dave Emmens, Tristan Clark, Riley McMaster, Kyle Scully, Ian Molt, Jordan Maddox, John Arnett, Mike Piggot, Andy Chung, and hopefully some big names like Jesse Roberts & Hans “No Way” Rey.

    I like how anytime our videos uses a remixed song, someone always asks if we did the remix.
